Unexpected adventures lead to the most amazing moments. I stumbled upon a rocket launch viewing opportunity, thanks to a note I found on the check-in counter at my hotel, and couldn't resist trying to capture it in a photo. With the help of my local friends, we planned the perfect viewing spot. As luck would have it, the full moon created a stunning halo, prompting me to shift my focus and center the moon in my frame. It was a risky move that could have resulted in the SpaceX Falcon 9 completely missing the frame all together, but the end result exceeded all expectations. The rocket didn't pass through the moon halo, but the outcome was truly magical.
